What's the one thing every business needs?
You guessed it - TRAFFIC.
Traffic is so important because it will help you make more money. Traffic is the number of people who visit your online properties. The more targeted traffic you have, the more money you will make, and the faster your business will grow. β¬π
Products and information about traffic sells very well.
Out of all the different types of traffic you can get, my favorite kind of traffic is referral traffic.
When someone refers you to look at one of your products or services, it's much better than if someone just stumbled upon your stuff as cold as ice. π₯Άπ§
However, if you don't have any referrals OR you want to establish a NEW traffic path, then there's no problem with that (at least one would hope there wasn't).
It's easy to become overwhelmed with trying to decide where you are going to get your traffic from.
You Have Many Options:
- Paid Traffic
- Organic Traffic
- Written Content
- Video Content
- Social Media Traffic (Facebook, Pinterest, YouTube, TikTok, Instagram)
- Media Buying
- Sponsored Ads
- and so much more
I don't know about you but this all gives me a headache!
It's a lot to decide and there's certainly cause to become overwhelmed.
Which one should you choose?
For me and this blog, I was thinking long and hard about where I wanted new traffic to come from. I had so many possibilities, I probably looked like a deer in headlights.
Then I thought about my secret source of targeted leads. The only caveat is they are ICE COLD!
I am no stranger to warming up cold leads. In fact, I have a 90 email sequence that I filter cold leads into on a weekly basis. It works and it's fun!
The formula to warming up cold leads is no different than running paid ads. Paid ads IS cold traffic! There's no difference.
3 Step Formula To Converting Ice Cold Traffic
Step 1: Be Truthful
Be honest right up front about how you got their email from.
Step 2: Give More Than You Ask For Money
Have a plan to GIVE. Sure you can eventually make sales but only when the time is right.
Step 3: Use Technology and Automations
Let today's technology help you get closer to your cold leads who turn warm. Use tagging and automation systems to sell to people who want to buy from you!
Let automation tell you those people who might need a little more hand holding before they make a purchase!

Step 4: Don't Be Greedy
Don't expect to get everything right the first time. You will want to take small samples of your cold list. If it's got to be importing 10 subscribers a day, that's better than spamming 1000 people at the same time. TRUST ME! Keep nurturing your list and it will grow in many ways!!
